General Terms and Conditions

Upon registering for the Trails Nomad, each participant confirms their understanding and acceptance of the comprehensive Rules and Regulations set forth by IHSANE VOYAGES Travel Agency. This involves signing mandatory forms, signifying agreement to abide by all outlined policies, which may be subject to alteration by the organizers at any given time. Updated rules can be accessed on the official website, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all participants.

Eligibility Criteria

IHSSAN VOYAGE Travel Agency holds exclusive authority to grant or deny entry into the trek, based on various criteria. All participants must be at least 18 years old by the event’s commencement and acknowledge the demanding terrain and weather variations they may face throughout the trek. By applying to join, participants confirm their physical and mental readiness and accept the inherent risks of this challenging event, acknowledging that IHSANE VOYAGES cannot be held liable for any injuries or damages encountered. Registration requires completion of a Registration Form and agreement to the event’s Rules and Regulations.

Acknowledgment of Agreement

By participating in the Trekking, trekers affirm their comprehension and acceptance of the established Rules and Regulations, guaranteeing the integrity of the information presented in their Registration Form. They accept responsibility for their participation, recognizing the risks involved in the event and certifying that their medical status is accurately depicted in the provided medical certificate. Participants are also expected to manage their travel arrangements independently and authorize the medical team to act in their best health interests during the event.

Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

Environmental stewardship is paramount during the Trails Nomad. Participants are strictly prohibited from littering on the course, checkpoints, or campsites, and must ensure the natural surroundings remain undisturbed. Actively representing their countries, participants are encouraged to treat local communities with respect and use designated toilet facilities during the event.

Registration Process and Fee Payment

To register for the Trails Nomad, interested individuals must submit their application online via the Registration Form and wait for allocation confirmation from IHSSANE VOYAGES Travel agency. Payment of the entry fee is required, with participation contingent upon full payment clearance. Additionally, participants must obtain a medical certificate ahead of check-in and are responsible for understanding visa and entry requirements for Morocco.

Withdrawal and Cancellation Policies

Participants retain the right to withdraw from the event at any time, with varying refund policies based on the withdrawal date relative to the event start date. Should competitors withdraw over 90 days in advance, they can expect a full refund minus a deposit, while those withdrawing within 30 days will receive no refunds. Entries are personal and non-transferable, and the organizers may withdraw participants at any time for various reasons, ensuring safety and adherence to event standards.

Insurance Requirements

Each participant is responsible for obtaining an adequate insurance policy that covers personal, physical, and material damages. With full awareness of the inherent risks, contestants release the organization from liability regarding personal accidents or medical issues encountered. Purchasing cancellation insurance is also highly recommended.

Course Regulations

The course may be modified or canceled by the organization based on numerous factors, including safety concerns. Participants are to navigate the marked course, diligently check in at designated checkpoints, and adhere to all guidelines to avoid penalties. The route will be visibly marked, and participants are responsible for maintaining hydration throughout their race experience.

Accommodations Guidelines

Participants, volunteers, and medical staff will share the same hotel rooms for overnight accommodations. Notably, leaving the Hotels without the organizers’ knowledge is prohibited. Adequate toilet facilities will be available, and participants are encouraged to utilize them.

Mandatory Equipment Standards

Participants must carry specific mandatory equipment throughout the race, which will be inspected by organizers prior to the start, with checks ongoing during the event. Personal belongings cannot be transferred between participants, and failure to meet equipment requirements may result in penalties or disqualification.

Participant Identification

Each Trekers will receive two bibs that must remain visible at all times throughout the race. One bib should be affixed to the front and the other to the back, with any alterations strictly forbidden.

Water Provisioning

Water will be supplied at checkpoints exclusively for drinking, while the event will also provide meals throughout the duration at the Hotels.

Timing and Trek Rankings

Timing will commence simultaneously for all participants at the start of each stage, with individual records maintained until the end. Rankings will be determined based on total cumulative times across all stages, distinguishing between male and female categories. Cut-off times will enforce adherence to schedule, with the trek director holding the discretion to withdraw participants who do not meet established time limits.

Rule Violations and Penalties

Non-compliance with the established rules and unsportsmanlike conduct can lead to time penalties or disqualification, as determined solely by the Race Director.

Withdrawal Protocols

Participants must notify the organizing team if they choose to withdraw to ensure proper procedures are followed. Organizers will assist in transporting withdrawers to the next designated hotel as logistical conditions allow.

Medical Support Availability

A dedicated medical team will be present throughout the race, prepared to assist participants experiencing physical or mental distress. This team possesses the authority to disqualify any competitor deemed unable to continue for health reasons.

Complaint and Protest Procedures

A designated desk will receive protests or complaints during each stage, assessed by an appointed organizing member who may escalate matters to the event director. Protests must be lodged on the day of the incident, with decisions rendered by the event director being final and binding.

Awards for Top Competitors

For the First Edition TRAILS NOMAD (90 Km), both men’s and women’s categories will present prizes, including free entries to future events and an opportunity for one complimentary trip with IHSSANE VOYAGES TRAVEL AGENCY in Morocco for the top finishers.

Image and Media Rights

Exclusive rights to any photo or film documentation from the Trek remain with IHSSANE VOYAGES and associated partners. Participants agree that images captured may be used for promotional purposes by these organizations, restricting other uses without prior authorization.

Concluding Statements
